Visitation and Outreach

Newcomers to Canada may find themselves in need of support in adjusting to a new country and culture, with new health care, financial, educational, and social systems.

Our Visitation and Outreach workers walk with at-risk newcomer families and individuals in navigating the difficulties and adjustments of moving to a new culture and society. Our workers help provide support, or find the appropriate supports, for newcomers dealing with complex social and emotional issues.
